Located in the International Drive Resort Area, Orlando's original waterpark is a great day out for all ages with the emphasis on multi person rides that groups can enjoy together. After lathering up with sunscreen, load the family onto phenomenal four passenger rides like the Flyer, a 'bobsled' run, or the Surge and the Bubba Tub where everyone gets a good soaking! All 3 are full of drops, twists, banked curves and have a big wet finish! Smaller kids have their own very safe miniature playground to swish around in, with mini versions of the parks big thrill rides. Lifeguards are constantly watchful and soft rubberized surfaces protect little bottoms from scrapes and bumps. Bigger kids of all ages can have their fun in the huge wave pool where you can rent tubes to float around on.
The Blast is a raging ride along a ruptured pipeline – a man made disaster you can share with a friend! The Lazy River circles the West Side of the park at a very leisurely bob so basically all you have to do is lie there and bronze! Knee Ski also involves circles, though you're travelling a lot faster and you can also try wake-boarding on the WakeZone Cableway! Daredevils will also want to have a go on Der Stuka (the name says it all!) and the Bomb Bay, where the floor is literally pulled out from underneath you!
The Storm guarantees you some bumpy weather as it blows you round and down, before an unceremonious dunking to finish. Disco H2O meanwhile is a 70’s flashback complete with big bell bottom curves and disco lights so get on down with the whole family! While BrainWash involves some water-filled group therapy on a six-storey extreme tube ride with a 53-foot vertical drop into the 65-foot domed funnel. It’s your prescription to mind blowing thrills!
