The Holy Land Experience
There has been a lot of interest in the opening of Orlando's first 'living biblical museum'. It's not exactly your typical Orlando attraction but that seems to be the very reason so many people want to find out more.
It's a mix of indoor and outdoor activities that take visitors back 2000 years to biblical times. In terms of bible study it certainly beats sitting in Sunday school for those wanting to get a feel for what life was like in the Holy Land. The attraction leans heavily toward education with replicas of Jesus' tomb, the Qumran Caves (where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found), and the Temple on the Mount. A cast of costumed actors tell the stories surrounding many well known biblical events and there are various presentations throughout the day, some involving music.

| This is as different as it gets from the usual Orlando themed attractions. Families or groups wanting to learn more about the life and times of Jesus Christ will get a lot out of it. Whether or not it has multi-denominational appeal remains to be seen. |
