Orlando Science Center

The whole concept behind the center involves ahands-on place of learning, where kids in particular can discoverthe world of science in fun and interesting surroundings. It's theideal family outing, and though somewhat removed from the maintourist areas (a 20-30 minute drive) the center is still within easyreach. Natureworks looks at various Floridaecosystems while the Cosmic Tourist is moreconcerned with systems of the solar variety! Bodyzone covers the wonders of the human body(beware the giant teeth!) while the big highlight for many visitors(really big!) is the state of the art CineDomewhich features stunning IMAX film presentationsand laser planetarium shows. For visitors interested in an seeing an IMAX show, you can add one on to your admission for only an additional $3(adults) or $2.50 (children).
