Race fans enjoying a day at Daytona Beach need to make a pit stop at the world famous Daytona International Speedway, home of Daytona USA the official attraction of NASCAR. Even if you miss the big race there's lots to do.
Take part in the excellent 16 second Pit Stop challenge (hey it looks easy on TV) and take time to wander through the many 
informative and interactive exhibits. The giant screen presentation of the Daytona 500 is loud and much larger than life as is NASCAR 3D The Imax experience. Daytona Dream Laps is an exciting motion simulator ride based on NASCAR's premier race, while the Technology of Speed takes you under the sheet metal for a look at the inner workings of a real race car. If you have the time before hitting the beach take the 1/2-hour tour of the track - the angle of the high-banked curves is amazing!
